Looking to buy an Nvidia MSI GeForce RTX 3080 Ti GPU to be used on some Windows VMs.

 

I know that Nvidia have restricted virtualization passthrough on consumer grade cards like the RTX 3080 ti.

It is my understanding that this restrictions has been lifted, but I still see people editing Nvidia drivers.

 

So I am a bit confused; can the MSI RTX 3080 ti be passed to a windows VM through unraid or not?

 

 

 

Also, did anyone have problems using their card for machine learning applications? (tensorflow / StyleGAN) ?
