August 31, 20223 yr Hey guys, today my usb drive broke and actually I have no backups of unraid (yeah, shame on me). Now I had setup a new one and installed unraid on it. After visiting the site of Unraid, there is a part which states I should post here when I struggle to get the correct assignment of the hdds. Can anyone assist me to get the drives running correctly? August 31, 20223 yr Community Expert In the case of single parity and single data, the parity calculation results in a mirror. If the disks are the same size either can be assigned as parity. User shares are simply the combined top level folders on pools and array, so your user shares will still exist, but since you are starting from scratch, you have nothing about your configuration, any settings from the webUI are gone including settings for those user shares, docker templates, any other settings from webUI.

Ah okay. Thank you! The lost configs are not that bad. Time to do a fresh install Only the docker data loss would be horrible. Thank you for the fast assistance!
August 31, 20223 yr Community Expert Dockers and their appdata will still exist since all that is on your drives, but without the docker templates, you can't work with them without setting them up again. Do you know how to make flash backup now?
