100% cpu when using deluge docker download to remote share

Featured Replies

Greeting everyone,

I am using unraid 6.10.2 on a Intel J4125 machine.

I mount NFS/SMB share from anther host by unassigned device plugin.

Install latest linuxserver/docker-deluge and try to download file to the remote share.

Download speed reach my max WAN bandwidth 300Mbps. But I notices CPU utilization in unraid dashboard is easily reach 100% during download. same issue for both SMB and NFS share.

If I using deluge to download to unraid local disk at same 300Mbps speed, the CPU is low than 50%. Download by QBittorrent in win10 VM in unraid to remote share also low CPU.

Does docker writing to remote share need to consume so many CPU in unraid?

I have to download to remote share because I am using a J4125 IPC with only 120G SSD local disk. And I prefer to use lighter docker for download instead of win10 VM if possible.

Any idea guys? I didn't enable CPU pining docker or CPU isolation in setting.

Dashboard CPU usage includes I/O wait, use htop to see just CPU, it should be lower.

Thanks but the problem, when use deluge docker download to remote share, the download speed is not stable and up and down. while using win10, the speed is stable on max bandwidth.
