Cache drive unmountable after sata power cable swap.

Featured Replies

Recently changed sata power cables on one of my cache drives. I'm getting the error "Unmountable: Too many missing/misplaced devices" for the cache pool and one of the devices is listed under "unassigned devices". I really don't want to format this drive (I do have an app data backup from a the app backup community application) is there anyway to get it added back to the pool?

If Docker/VM services are using the cache pool disable them, unassign all cache devices, start array to make Unraid "forget" current cache config, stop array, reassign all cache devices (there can't be an "All existing data on this device will be OVERWRITTEN when array is Started" warning for any cache device), re-enable Docker/VMs if needed, start array.
