unRAID Support

Featured Replies

Has anyone been in contact with sales or support staff recently?  I have dropped them a couple of emails in the last month, but got no response.

Junkie

I last emailed support on 5/16 and it took a little under 8 hours to get a response.

I experienced the same. Here are the details: http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=11018.msg127257#msg127257

No reply to my post and no reply to my email either. This is annoying.

agreed, i fully went into the unRAID move knowing that it was a one man show and  i did my research to see the amazing community behind it, BUT there are still some questions that can ONLY be answered by limetech.

Ask your question here and the community might be able to help you figure out what is going on.

EdgarWallace - I understand your frustration, but sometimes LimeTech does not have control over what controller will work and will not work based on the Kernel that is used.  Sometimes hardware just stops being supported... it happens.  With that being said, start a new thread in the 5.0 support forum and give us a syslog from a working 4.X system and the syslog from a non working 5.0bX system.  Give us the output of the /sbin/lspci -v on both 4.X and 5.0bX so we can compare.

Also, do some google searching to see if you can find anyone else having problems with the card under the same Kernel that unRAID uses.

@prostuff1,

I appreciate your offer to help here. Pls. click on the link above (my previous post) and you will see the outcome of /sbin/lspci -v command. Anything you can read from the result?

Btw. as you see I tried both, email to Limetech and the forum here....

Thank you.

I looked through the thread and do not see a syslog (entire syslog) from either the 4.X series or the 5.0bX series.

I would like to see the output of the above command for each unRAID version and the syslog from each version.

prostuff1,

unfortunately I don't have the 4.7 version any more but attached is the syslog plus the full output of /sbin/lspci -v .

I ran the command at around 19:06

The syslog and lspci will help, but we really need something to compare it to... i.e. a working 4.7 booted system  Even if you can set up a spare flash and boot 4.7 free so you can grab a syslog and the lspci that would be immensely helpful.  Without it we do not have a lot to compare against and try to find the differences.

Maybe abs0lut.zer0 can help? He is still on 4.7. and has tested (..when I remember some of his last postings correctly...)  5.0bX series; so maybe he can run the requested commands?
