Hello everyone,

I'm using a HM90 Minisforum, and yesterday I noticed that my device is inaccessible. No ping response, unpaid web panel is inaccessible and also all my containers and VMs are not available. Then I upgraded to the newest beta version of unraid in hope that that issue solved. I did it yesterday and few minutes ago same issue happened again. I cannot access, seems to be crashed.

HDMI Output is nothing, no console, nothing I can see. In fact, there is no output.

I really don't know where I should look to find what the issue is, I hope people can help me at this point to figure out what happens and solve it.

Thank you.

#added diagnostics. I made this after cash on first boot.

Hello JorgeB,

Your guide helps me to solve it. My solution was to disable C-States globally on bios.

I didn't find any power supply idle settings, so that was my solution.

Thank you!

Somehow, server crash again after a period of 14 days. It happened twice. Disabling C-States helps definitely, but still not stable.

Enable the syslog server and post that after a crash to see if there's something visible.

Nothing relevant logged that I can see, that usually points to a hardware problem, one thing you can try is to boot the server in safe mode with all docker/VMs disable, let it run as a basic NAS for a few days, if it still crashes it's likely a hardware problem, if it doesn't start turning on the other services one by one.

This error appears after 14 days, waiting 14 days in safe mode is quite LONG. Maybe I can do a 48h benchmark or something?

Can you something others recommend to me?

You can run memtest for 24H, but that mostly tests RAM and it's only conclusive if it finds errors.

Disabling C-States does not solve my issue.

After that i contacted Minisforum and they told me the following:

"If you are using a linux system, you need to disable the IOMMU in the bios;
Then we recommend installing the latest version of the linux system to use."

Now I need to wait up to two weeks to confirm if it helps. But now my machine cannot use full of 1Gbit, speedtest is giving me around 120 Mbit instead of 1Gbit network speed.
