Btrfs for SSD array

I have SSDs in my array. Currently without parity. I guess I didn’t fully understand everything when I set it up and selected XFS for the array. 
Seeing as I’m using SSDs should I have selected btrfs due to it having built-in trim?

Am I still best adding spinning disks for parity if I move to btrfs array?

    Trim won't work for array devices, only pools.
