September 26, 20223 yr hi, i have 2 unraid servers running, no parity on both. what I want to do is remove 2 drives (chiaplots) from unraid#1 array and add them to unraid#2 array. will unraid just incorporate the drives into unraid#2 after I add them to the array? or will it tell me to format drive and erase it? thanks Edited September 26, 20223 yr by Spazhead

Depends if your Array is parity protected. If it is not, you should be able to add it as is. If it is, you will have to do a New config and rebuild parity.

October 5, 20223 yr Author Just wanna say that unraid is amazing! easy transfer of 12 bay enclosure from one server to another, unplugged the sff-8088 cable from one server and plugged it into another server, add the drives to array and BAM!!!!!!! All is showed up! Thanks for a great piece of software!
