September 27, 20223 yr Hello, I am fairly new to Unriad, but I have noticed that after the last few times the parity check ran both of my Data Drives show the exact same amount of "used" in the main screen. Is it normal for the parity check to change the used amount of the data drives, or is there a setting for this. My build has 4 drives and is still using 6.10.3: 1) 480gb ssd cache 2) 8Tb Data 3) 5Tb Data 4) 8Tb Parity I run the parity check every 4 weeks. In this most recent example, prior to the parity check the 8Tb data drive showed 560ish gb used and the 5Tb drive showed 480gb used on the Main page. After the parity scan ran both drives show the exact same amount of "used" at 635gb. It could be coincidence, as mover does run nightly, but this has happened a few times after parity checks. September 27, 20223 yr Community Expert Parity check only checks parity. It reads all other disks, and checks to confirm parity matches. A correcting parity check will also correct parity if it doesn't match. Parity contains none of your data, and parity check cannot affect any of your data. Also, mover doesn't move data between array disks. I don't know what you are seeing, but your proposed explanations are impossible.
