Very slow download/upload from server

Featured Replies

I'm having a problem with very slow transfers between my server with unRAID and my Vista notebook.  The unRAID machine has the following hardware:

CPU: P4 1.6

Memory: 768mb SDRAM (800mhz)

PCI: SATA Controller card

2 WD 750gb 3.0gb/s drives (SATA)

I'm having a transfer rate of about 600kb/s upload (from server to notebook) and 200kb/s (from notebook to server)

according to unMenu my HDD's are running at about 90mb/s and I have the cache set at 2048.

I have a linksys router WRT54G

I'm using unRAID v. 4.7

I've attached my system log.......

please help.....

Do you have another router to try? Flash the firmware on that recently?

I do not have an extra router, but I did update the firmware....this increased the speed to 1.5-2.5mb/s....it's getting better.  Now I just have random drops. I'll be transfering files to the server and it will be disconnected from with the server.
