October 1, 20223 yr just got a sweet deal on ebay for 10 x 10TB Seagate SAS drives, but I notice that Unraid is reporting a different serial number then what is written on the label of the drive, is this normal for IBM branded Seagate drives?
October 1, 20223 yr Well, the 1st 8 characters match, but the internal number has a bunch more digits. As long as they all report unique numbers I wouldn't worry too much.
