No Internet connection after installing Nvidia Drivers - Extreme noob here.

Featured Replies

Hi there!
Exuse my stupid questions, im an unraid / linux / networking noob. Its my second day with unraid and I still have a lot to learn so I can create a media servier for Plex on my old Laptop with a 8600m gt nvidia gpu (or smth else in the future). Im trying to learn the basics first.

The Problem:

After installing Nvidia drivers im no longer able to connect to the internet. I tried to reset every setting but nothing helps.

Booting into GUI mode is also no longer possible.

Creating the USB Boot from scratch helps but it happens again after installing the drivers.

please help.

If you rename the .plg file in the ‘config’ folder on the flash drive to have a different file extension and reboot then the drivers will not be loaded.
