How to remove and shrink my array with a disabled disk

hi all,

I have a bad disk 1 that I'd like to remove from the array and shrink my overall size, after a rebuild of the array the disk enabled long enough for me to move all the content to the other drives, but now it has disabled again.

What is the best approach to take to remove this drive and not replace it. The drive is empty, or at least emulated empty.

Attached is the diagnostics for assistance along with the smart report of disk 1.
