unraid 6.11 problem with VMs and virbr0, no IP to external and noVNC

Featured Replies

Hello Forum,

after adding a 2nd NIC and changing the MAC address of this NIC to eth0, there is no virbr0 mapping to the LAN network. Of course I played a lot with all related network settings and now I´m lost in space. I also tried to change the nic to the default eth0 mac but still the same behavior. Please can someone guide me to solve the problem?

Thank´s

I solved the Problem:

Shutting down the unraid server and edit the USB-Stick in a windows machine.

Removed the file /config/network-rules.cfg and edit the file /config/network.cfg to default values:

# Generated network settings
USE_DHCP="yes"
IPADDR=
NETMASK=
GATEWAY=
BONDING="yes"
BRIDGING="yes"

Now the routing of virbr0 is working as it should and noVNC is working as well.
