Argh!!!!  I've been waiting for 3 months for our suppliers to get this case in, and it appears the wait will be even longer.

Is anyone willing to price me up shipping from Aussy / Elsewhere and send me one? Shipping estimates from US/UK companies are crazy, almost the price of the case..

Cheers

If you're desperate I can order one from tigerdirect and ship to you...I mean you would be paying for the cost of shipping and maybe a tiny bit for my time. Let me know, I am in NJ and get crap from tigerdirect in 1 day. Once I receive it I could drop off post office same day.

The problem here is that shipments by air will be charged either on the package weight, or a nominal weight which is calculated from the package's volume - whichever is higher.  The problem with shipping a case is that you're paying an awful lot to ship the empty space inside the case!  Now, if someone was prepared to dismantle the case and 'flat-pack' it .....  Otherwise, would you be prepared to wait for it to be delivered by sea?

Ended up ordering from Aussy. Turned out to be slightly cheaper  :)

And it has already shipped. You'll be seeing a new server on here soon! Woop woop!

Argh!!!!  You wouldn't believe the issues I've had trying to get this damn case into NZ.

I found a supplier in Australia, who had 32 in stock. I bought it and they shipped it. However, it has been 2 freakin' weeks and it still hasn't landed in NZ. It's in AUSTRALIA! Takes 4 days by boat. Are they sending it on a dingy?

Pulling my hair out over this!!

Dingo-Express...

It is strapped to the back of the pooch. I hope it can doggy paddle or else it will drown.

.... dingo ate my server! .....

Sorry I could not resist.

;D

I resisted!

Why this case? It does not seem all that special to me.

Cheapest way for me to get hot swap bays + a nice looking case.

That case appears to be in stock at quietpc.com in New Zealand at $193.69 NZD

Are these the same suppliers that have you waiting?

Yep - they're not based in NZ, but that's where I ordered it from.

And what would you know, 20 days later it has finally arrived in NZ. Still has to get through customs though...  :|

Weird...Last time I ordered from this particular quiet pc outfit, my parts were allegedly coming in from NZ (I'm in Australia).

Now, I only use their .co.uk site, though I have no idea if it makes a difference.

At least your new case is at customs now!

Yeah they seem to be based in a few different places! They must pool their stock levels throughout their branches.

Looking forward to this case ;)
