October 17, 20223 yr I have posted this in Bug Reports, but got ignored so re-posting here! I had the same problem with 6.11.0 hoped that the update would fix! Shutting down my Windows 11 VM causes major issues, I quickly lose access to my docker apps and also the main GUI so have to do hard reset! Stutting down my Chrome OS VM doesn't cause major issues that I've noticed but my monitor stays on, it's like it's not swiching off the GPU. tower-diagnostics-20221007-1612.zip syslog-10.19.64.2.log
October 17, 20223 yr Author So I've been trying to fix this myself and just have more issuses! I thought I'd try updating to the latest motherboard type, but all I get then is the UEFI shell screen and no boot! Attached are the 2 xml files the one marked new is the one after changing MB type, thats the only change! Why does it result in no boot?Windows 11.xmlWindows 11 new.xml
February 4, 20233 yr Hello, Have you manage to fix this issue ? I have a similar problem. My Windows 11 VM with GPU passtrough used to work fine with Unraid 6.9. I haven't made any change to my xml and since 6.11 when I shutdown the VM Unraid is unreachable forcing me to do a hard reboot. I use the same virtual harddisk for another VM without gpu passtrough and I have no issue on shutdown. Maybe it's a hint. Edited February 4, 20233 yr by Rikul
February 15, 20233 yr Similar issue here: since upgrading from v6.9 to v6.11 an issue is preventing shutdown and reboot. Stopping a Windows 10 VM results in webgui becoming unresponsive, but ssh connection to the server is still possible at that time. I haven't spotted anything in syslog that seems to be related to this issue. If I try to shutdown or reboot the system when webgui is still responsive, sshd gets killed relatively fast, but the machine keeps running until I cut the power. The same happens when I use the poweroff, powerdown, or reboot commands over ssh.

And no one else can help if its not a bug and some sort of config issue!

March 15, 20233 yr My issue may have been resolved by installing the AMD Vendor Reset plugin. I'm not certain yet because my machine has been running smoothly for the past month.
