October 18, 20223 yr I am racking my brain here and feel like a complete idiot. I’ve installed VM on my Mac tons of times and never once had an issue. I can not get virtual machines to enter into windows setup to save my life. Tried windows 7 and windows 10. Have redownload the iso for both multiple times and used multiple versions. Doesn’t matter. Every time I get: Windows Boot Manager Windows failed to start…. File: \EFI\Microsoft\Boot\BCD “The boot configuration data for your pc is missing or contains errors.” I don’t know what to do… Edit: can’t get Ubuntu to load either. Just goes into the UEFI Interactive Shell. It’s like it can’t see the iso even though it’s there.
