D-Link DGE-528T NIC driver not working

Hey guys

I have just started out using unraid and its been great except my onboard lan would only connect at 100mbs which is far to slow so I looked at the compatible list of NIC and the D-Link DGE-528T is listed as working I have installed it turned off the onboard LAN and it lights up at the back off the card but I can not connect to my box with telenet or \\tower and my router does not list it as one off the devices on the lAN.

    ifconfig eth0

    ethtool eth0

    just so know one waste any time on this I am going back to a different setup I had before that seemed to work ok
