I don't need any drives, so I haven't researched how well this works with unraid. It does not appear, for good or ill, on Raj's hard drive compatibility list - hopefully someone else can chip in how well they work for Unraid.

 

I have two, they work just fine.

Good to hear. I ordered one yesterday to replace a drive that Unraid put a red dot on and disabled.  I JUST got the drive this Morning!  I'll try my first hard drive replacement this evening!  A bit nervous...but I guess I'll see this all in action.

I've got one also that I need to preclear and add to my array.  I wanted to check and see what firmware you guys have running on your drives?  Mine came with CC32 .  This model is different from my other 2TB Seagate , however on my other one I had manually updated it to CC35 .  I just wanted to make sure this model had no firmware bug like my st32000542as did.

Looks like CC32 is the latest firmware for this drive
