Once you have flashed your conroller card to IT mode, I recommend you change the "Boot Support" to "Disabled" via the LSI BIOS settings (CTRL-C). This will not offer any drive to be bootable to the system bios, posts must quicker and lets unRAID have sole control over the drives, which is what we want.

Hello,

I put a genuine LSI 9211-8i card into my HP MicroServer Gen 8.

I've correctly flashed the firmware to P20 IT mode on LSI 9211-8i (LSI SAS-2008), but I'm facing issues in doing this last part as when I press Ctrl+C when asked, I get the following error: "nmi detected. please consult the integrated management log".

I must say, my HP iLO health status is deprecated, it works fine as I could test apart from the fact I cannot access to "Intellingent Provisioning" when I press F10 at boot, but have no problem in normal computer usage and remote control from iLO works perfectly...

Do you have any advice for me?

Is it a problem if I'd leave the card settings as they are now? It runs perfectly in Unraid...

Thanks everyone! :)
