October 23, 20223 yr Community Expert Sadly, it often happens that the mover starts, creates a file ...partitial and never finishes within the next few hours (did not wait any longer). It happens every sunday night here, at 3am the VM backup runs and creates a 60G+ file on cache. In the morning mover wants to copy it to the final destination. on the first mover run this file is "skipped" (whereas others are copied over without any problem). if you start mover another time, it trys to copy the file, but never finishes 😞 This only happens to files created by "VM-Backup". Any idea what is going on and how to solve it? (for now I will tell the backup to write directly to the array and bypass cache)
