June 26, 201115 yr I have 4-6 machines that connect to the unraid box running 4.7. i have user shares turned on, and setup one user to connect All boxes connect fine, except one win7 box. that box connects, sees folders, but no files inside on some shares. permissions seem identical, and im connecting using the same user. i've chmod'd /chownd dirs to test various things, but shouldnt really affect it either way. I can even write new folders/files and read those. Some other things that were written in the folders i can see (by other users/programs - jpgs, folders etc). any suggestions on what to do to troubleshoot it? in windows ive created a new user, logged in with it, same thing. I'd test with nfs, but win7 pro doesnt seem to come with it. edit: more googling and forum searching revealed: http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=12494.0 that solved it.
