Deleting a folder with photos project it takes FOREVER. I always just end up cancelling it. 

When transferring many files it takes forever to begin. On Windows it start instantly.

• Enable SMB Multi Channel: No

• Enhanced macOS interoperability: Yes

• Enable NetBIOS: No

• Enable WSD: Yes

 

My Samba extra configuration:

   fruit:zero_file_id = yes
   fruit:metadata = stream
   fruit:encoding = native
   spotlight backend = tracker

What can be done? Switch to OpenMediaVault?

I don’t know if it will help but adding those settings to extra configurations isn’t recommended as if unRAID 6.11.1. There is a possibility that they may get overwritten due to the way samba loads.
