January 23, 200818 yr I'm new to unRAID and I'm having a couple of issues with User Shares. First and foremost, I can't seem to change the default settings for "allocation method" and "split level." No matter what I try, when I click "Apply", the values revert to both "High-water" and "0". I'm probably missing something simple here, but I can't seem to get it right. The other issue I'm having is perhaps related to OS X. When I mount each disk separately from my MacBook Pro (running 10.5 Leopard), I can see the contents of each disk. However, when I mount my User Share folder, there appears to be nothing in the User Share. Each disk reports that there is indeed a folder in each named "Music", and each disk will separately report the contents of their respective folder, but the User Share folder itself reveals nothing. Thanks!
January 23, 200818 yr I also use OS X and user shares. I have not had your problems. I do have problems with user shares when moving or modifying files/folders on a share. This is normally fixed by either stopping and starting the array or powering down and restarting unraid. Roland
