Im getting ready to build my first server but want to buy the two pack license. My question is how do I go about getting the second GUID? Do I just need to boot up the server once then swap the flash drive and boot with the second?

Yep. That is the only way I know to get the flash GUID. (also a good check that the flash works with your computer to boot unRaid).

If you have two flash drives already, you can install unRAID Basic (the free version) onto both, then boot up from each one and view the GUID from the unRAID web interface.  If you don't have a second flash drive yet, you can still purchase a license 2 pack and wait to activate the second license.

 

You cannot simply swap the flash drive while the server is running.  You have to fully reboot the server using the second flash drive.
