[SOLVED]Precleared drives. Resetted USB, now UNRAID freezes

Featured Replies

EDIT: It was actually the usb-key that crapped out on me, tried another. Too bad, brand new USB-memory.

Hi,

I have been lurking for a couple of months, but 2 days ago I decided to go ahead and build me a server. I was just going to test things some before actually setting up the live environment.

I downloaded and started Unraid without a problem, it found my 3 disks.

I also installed unmenu and copied also the pre-clear script to the USB.

I pre-cleared my 3 disks, they all passed. I never started and array or assigned any disk to anything.

In the process I tried many different things, so I thought it was a good idea to reset the USB (reformatted it and put the unmodified files on it.)

It boots fine. It comes all the way to the login screen and if I am fast I can type "root". If I wait a bit the system freezes, no matter if I logged on root or not.

As it freezes I can't provide a syslog.

I booted up some live-distros and some partitioning tools, they all seem to be working fine and all 3 disks are there and reported in good shape.

Where do I go from here? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.
