I just swapped out my old temporary server for a new one. I have done some testing with TrueNAS Scale earlier before swapping over. I upgraded to 6.11.1 and rebooted the old server before moving the stick to the new server. But after the splash screen it just gets stuck and after a while it reboots. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated, even the most basic settings (if i've missed something)

I tried backing up the usb and reinstalling a fresh copy on the usb stick but with no luck.

Did you adjust the name of the EFI folder accordingly to the boot type you were trying ?

  • for UEFI the folder needs to be named 'EFI'
  • for BIOS/CMS the folder needs to be named 'EFI-'  the trailing '-' is important
