November 1, 20223 yr Hi Guys, have a problem with a disk... I had a disk failed and I changed it as per standard procedure; all went well and the disk was rebuilt with to issues with a brand new, cleared disk. It worked perfectly for some days and all of a sudden I got an error message saying Unmountable: Wrong or no file System and the disk is now off line. What should I do? PS Log attached monstruo-diagnostics-20221101-1355.zip
November 1, 20223 yr Community Expert You are getting read errors on many different disks, you should see those errors on the main GUI page (and be notified about it if notifications are enabled), errors on so many disks suggest power/connection problems, you must fix that first.
November 1, 20223 yr Author That is what I was thinking too... Will check it out. What do you suggest? PSU problem? Cables? Thanks
November 1, 20223 yr Community Expert Could be either, first check if all affected disks share a miniSAS cable or splitter, if they only share the PSU I would start there.
November 1, 20223 yr Author Found a loose cable... I guess that was the main problem. Now all disks are working properly but the new one (the one that was rebuilt last) is still Disabled: contents emulated... What is next? Thanks
November 1, 20223 yr Community Expert Log looks clean for now and the emulated disk is mounting, assuming contents look correct you can rebuild on top.
November 3, 20223 yr Author All done and all fine... Now the only issue is the following: as you might see I got 328 errors on disk 9. On top I keep receiving the following message: Unraid disk 4 SMART health Warning [MONSTRUO] - udma crc error count is XXXXX WDC....... Shall I do something regarding it? Thanks

There were no errors on the previous diags, but disk9 has pending sectors so it's likely failing, but since there's only one parity drive not much you can do about it, replace it after the other disk finishes rebuilding, but there could be some data loss.
