I am kinda thinking 16 drives via the 6 onboard SATA, 8 with Supermicro AOC-SASLP-MV8 in the PCI Express x16 slot and 2 more with a Silicon Image SIL3132 in one of the PCI Express x1 slots, all stuffed in an Antec 1200 and four 4-in-3 Cooler Master HDD cages. Thoughts?

July 16, 201114 yr Author Just an FYI, I had to cancel this order because it never shipped from TigerDirect. Newegg had an even better rebate going on, then noticed the board I originally wanted, JetWay JHZ03-GT-V2-LF, at a smoking deal. Ordered and received
