November 4, 20223 yr Hey, I've got an i3-12100 up and running today - wanted to get the i-GPU tested for transcodes in Plex docker app. Can anyone point me to the config/documentation that I need to go through for that please?
November 22, 20223 yr I have a similar issue. I have a i7-12700K on a ASUS TUF Z690 Plus Wifi D4 mother board. I am trying to get HW transcoding available in Emby but have been only partly successful. After setting up the server with Unraid 6.11.4, I downloaded Intel GPU Top from CA, added /dev/dri as a container path, and added --device=/dev/dri as an extra parameter. However, when I launch Emby I'm only seeing VAAPI available and not QSV. Is it possible to get QSV enabled in the 12th Gen CPUs or for now is only VAAPI available? I'd much prefer to get QSV working, if possible. Edited November 22, 20223 yr by Eagleman
