Utility to print directory/file list

Does anyone of a utility that will print (or export to excel) directory listings?  For example, I would like to print the contents of my "TV Shows" share on my unRAID server.

    Telnet to unRAID and cd to directory you want.

     

    ls -la > file.txt

     

    Then open Excel and import file.txt

    Sorry I haven't replied earlier, but I've been really busy and haven't had time to try that command.  I don't mean to seem ungrateful for your response bubbaQ.  I will try it in the next few days, but I'm sure it does what I need.  Thanks.
