Parity Check not showing progress

Featured Replies

Hello all,

I run parity checks monthly starting on the 7th of each month.  For the last 2 months, when parity is running, it doesn't update the Total size:, elapsed time etc fields on the Main screen of unraid WebUI.  I can see that the parity check is progressing by seeing the % in the bottom left of the screen.   I am running 6.10.3 Pro and have included screenshot of my parity config.

I don't believe that I changed any options when it stopped working correctly but can't be positive.  Any help/pointers appreciated.

I'm running 6.11.2... latest stable release as I'm told. I've read a lot of stuff is "great" with parity checks being able to "span" days or weeks and within the hours prescribed. It doesn't work for me (and others). Maybe it's the new parity checking that's screwing things up?

Are you trying to schedule increments via the standard Unraid options, or are you trying to do it using the Parity Check Tuning plugin.    Without more information on exactly what happens on your system we are not going to be able to help you.

It is not a widespread bug as it works for me on 6.11.2.

Also, that's not what the OP is complaining about as he is not using Cumulative parity check. Please do not derail this thread.

@HFChimp I have the informations on my server.

Maybe the parity tuning plugin or one of it's options is interfering ?

Unlikely - the plugin does not affect the display of the standard Unraid messages.
