I been running UnRaid for almost a Year without a problem.

 

i have a  GIGABYTE GA-880GA-UD3H AM3 Question, not the most common choice but works fin for me.

 

So, i did a few things before reboot:

 

1- run preclear script as always. Get 1 drive precleared.

2- Get the new preclear script in the flash drive (i was running an old version)

3- power down from web interface

4- put  a new drive to preclear after the last one. As far, all 7 drives connected to eSata port on the Mobo.

5- TUrn the tower on, and from that on i wasn't able to connetc to the server. Not via Web interface, finder in MAC ( cmd+K ) or telnet via terminal.

 

 

Now i remember that this mobo has 1 particular thing, once you turn the server off, you have to unplug the server and press the on /  off button for a fe secs, i dont know why, but the ethernet port doesn't work after reboot if you dont do that. I had this problem before and found this solution over the internet.

 

I have the server / macs connected with a switch. The rest of the network works just fine, i can acces all the computers and internet.

 

I removed the last drive (the one that i just instaled to run the preclear script ) and nothing. I didn't move anything, i didn't change any file or config or anything.

 

I don't know what might be the problem.

Man this network card sucks!!!

 

 

I just did some search in the forums, find my old post with the link for the solution and thats it, im up and running again, no problem at all.

 

I just need to wait for the parity check to finish.
