July 1, 201115 yr hi guys! the ASUS M4A88T-M LE motherboard uses the Realtek 8112L chip... I've read good things overall about the Asus M4A78L-M which uses the same chip! the Asus M4A78L-M is also listed in the Compatible Motherboard unRAID WiKi... So, Would it be safe to assume that the ASUS M4A88T-M LE will work just as good? thanks Again

July 8, 201114 yr Author your lucky even in the unRAID Wiki, it states "As of May 2011, the Realtek 8111E NIC has been established as being very troublesome in the unRAID environment. While it is possible to make this NIC work, it is generally recommended that it be avoided if you want a hassle-free build. There have been no other widespread reports of problems with all the other versions of the Realtek 8111 NIC. "
July 8, 201114 yr I don't this exact m/b but I do have the 8112L. I'm also fairly new (about 15 total days uptime and 3 days continuous max uptime), but I've sort of tried to stress my new box with four "failures" that included four parity swaps (install replacement drive larger than old parity) and moving ~1TB of data over the NIC, and so far so good. With nothing that looks to be a problem, or a NIC slow down.
