November 11, 20223 yr Hello all, I just got a "Machine Check Events" error. It appeared on the "Fix common problems" plugin and this is the suggested fix: "Your server has detected hardware errors. You should install mcelog via the NerdPack plugin, post your diagnostics and ask for assistance on the Unraid forums. The output of mcelog (if installed) has been logged" I checked this link and decided to check the syslog, but couldn't see if it was a harmless error or not. I attached my diagnostics to this message to hopefully have someone take a look and see if all is well or I should be worried. Thanks! tower-diagnostics-20221111-1642.zip

I looked at it yesterday but there is not much to forge an opinion: Nov 10 04:31:03 Tower kernel: mce: [Hardware Error]: Machine check events logged and that's it. I would say it's probably fine. Maybe run a few passes of Memtest to be on the safe side.

I will maybe run some diagnostics soon and also upgrade to the latest version of unRAID. Thanks again 🙂

April 8, 20233 yr Any luck resolving this? I am getting mce events and random reboots but I can't figure out where the mce log is?

MCE's are specific to your hardware and the cause of one on somebody else's system is unlikely to be the cause of yours.
