Unraid not updating

Featured Replies

I attempted to update Unraid from 6.9.2 to 6.11.3 using Update in the Tools section. A popup window opened showing the progress of the download and when it reached about 70% it stopped and showed "download failure (File I/O error)". I have successfully used this update method in the past, but it doesn't seem to be working now. I'd certainly appreciate some help with this issue. The diagnostics file is attached.

You don't have enough RAM for an in-place update, minimum 4GB is now required (and recommended for Unraid in general). You need to do a manual update of the flash drive on another machine.

Thanks so much for your prompt reply. I'll upgrade to 4GB of RAM and try updating again.
