Mover not working

Featured Replies

Tinkered with the server last night and I have nearly 1TB of files to move, but even with the mover set to run hourly, it's not happening.

Any thoughts on why? Shares are set to YES for "use cache pool"

It works if I run it manually.

Try changing the mover schedule, then change it back to hourly and apply.

First thing that I found is that you have not set a min free space parameter on your most of your shares.  (I did not check them all since you have so many...)  See below:

This value should be approximately twice as big as the largest file that you would be expecting to write to that share.  (If there is not enough space to write a file on a drive, the write will fail.  This is not logged unless you turn on Mover Logging.   You don't normally want to turn this logging as it will spam your log with a line for every file being written...)

Next thing are the hundreds of error messages in the syslog that look like this:

Take a look at your Dashboard page.
