November 19, 20223 yr I've never had any issues installing over VMs, perhaps what's different with this one is that it's CLI only. I've tried all options for BIOS, and nearly ever other configuration. I've watched tutorials online installing older versions of Ubuntu, but can't seem to find any guides on "server". Here is the link to the ISO I'm attempting to install: https://releases.ubuntu.com/22.04/ubuntu-22.04.1-live-server-amd64.iso.torrent Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I just downloaded the server ISO and it booted fine, I am on 6.11.4
November 24, 20223 yr I can boot from the server iso, but the only way I could get it to install correctly was to create a new VM using SeaBIOS. Using OVMF would result in the installer either hanging, or failing with an error.
December 6, 20223 yr Author I'm not quite sure what I'm doing wrong. I'll download the image again. I've got all the same settings as both of you mention, and still no luck. I've attempted this on 6.11.4 and now on 6.11.5
