July 4, 201115 yr I just finished building my unRAID server since my NAS was just about full. I'm using v5 beta 7 since I needed support for 3TB disks. I've transferred all my media over and just got everything up and running with the XBMC interface. The problem is that all of my 1:1 BD rips (.m2ts) stutter and are unwatchable. Normal DVD's are fine. I'm playing them externally using MPC-HC which was working fine with the NAS, but stutter horribly when streaming from unRAID. Everything is gigabit and the only thing that has changed is the switch from my NAS to unRAID. Drag and drop file transfers seem fine and run around 50MB/s depending on file size, but as a server it's terrible. All shares are mounted SMB which is the same way it was done with my Synology. eth0 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr f4:6d:04:3c:d0:73 inet addr:192.168.0.185 Bcast:192.168.0.255 Mask:255.255.255.0 UP BROADCAST RUNNING MULTICAST MTU:1500 Metric:1 RX packets:1077716 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0 TX packets:8203764 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0 collisions:0 txqueuelen:1000 RX bytes:85785477 (81.8 MiB) TX bytes:3519462380 (3.2 GiB) Interrupt:40 Base address:0x2000

July 5, 201114 yr Author Thanks bjp999, but I've narrowed the problem down to the local PC. The unRAID has been removed from the equation and not the problem. Thanks!
