Files deleted from user shares reappear, deleting files from disk shares work

Featured Replies

A search turns up lots of posts about issues deleting files, but I can't find this specific issue.

If I delete a file through a user share, the file disappears, but refreshing the window shows it's still there and opening that file produces an error that it can't be found. If I delete the file through a disk share, it is deleted as expected.

File system is XFS.

Any suggestions on what could be causing this or how to fix it?

If you reboot after deleting through user shares, is the file gone?
