How's the Health of My Drives?

Featured Replies

Seeing some listed as Healthy and others as Error. Ran Long Smart Reports before exporing Diagnostics. Would really appreciate some guidance on which drives should be removed.

 

(I've recently deleted about 100TB, thus the massive drive count/low usage)

    A lot of drives and I am not in a convenient position to look at all their SMART results;

     

    As a general rule any drive that fails the extended SMART test should be removed.  Also any drive that has non zero values for reallocated sectors or pending sectors are candidates although those are not of themselves fatal.
