Shinobi
Is there a variant of the pre-clear script meant for regular use ? Idea is to have some confidence in disks, that would go into the regular machines, that might initially have the data, before moving it to unraid. Shinobi
Only sort of ready made application that I could find so far, that could fill a drive & could verify if it is able to exactly read what it wrote has been disk-filltest https://panthema.net/2013/disk-filltest/ https://manpages.ubuntu.com/manpages/impish/man1/disk-filltest.1.html Quote Link to comment
Kilrah
UD preclear does that if you have it write then post-read, it'll write 0s to the whole disk and then verify everything is actually 0s (and add the preclear signature). Quote Link to comment
