November 26, 20223 yr Has anyone dealt with windows 10/11 screen going black with amd 6000 series.Linux vm boots fine, windows booted fine until it installs the amd driver, even a new windows install goes black as soon as windows update install display drivers. November 26, 20223 yr Author I can get the system to boot on a fresh boot with vnc set as the primary gpu and the 6700xt set as secondary. But only sometimes. I can get Linux to boot everytime. Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk
November 26, 20223 yr Author I recreated the VM as ifx440 type, I have always used q35 machine type. And for some odd reason that allows me to boot up.... Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk
November 26, 20223 yr Author But after a reboot it's back to a black screen after tiano core screen. I am passing through an nvme. But it seems like as soon as windows kernel goes to load it breaks. Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk
