Docker Permission (Access Denied) Issues with 6.11?

Recommended Posts

Does anyone know if the bug that caused folder permission issues with Docker Containers fixed with the release of 6.11?  I know there were a bunch of people, myself included, that had to downgrade to 6.9 because of the bug.  I don't see anything in the release notes and was hoping it was fixed.  I wanted to be sure before I upgraded again.

Just some examples.

AFAIK there's no bug, issues affects users that weren't using the optimal settings, and earlier releases still accepted them while now it requires the correct ones, you can take a look here for some more info:

More specifically about rclone and sonar/radar/plex

For anyone reading this thread, DO NOT follow the instructions in the linked post.  Most of my docker containers are now broken and completely inaccessible.  I'm being told that I'm going to have to delete them all and start over again.   Essentially rebuild all my containers and their associated databases.

Hopefully this helps someone so they don't have to rebuild their server.

You can see in the other thread that this did solve the issue for other users, though not cases are the same, possibly depending on what containers you are using, what you should do is backup appdata first then see if it helps, if it doesn't restore the backup.
