November 27, 20223 yr Does anyone know if the bug that caused folder permission issues with Docker Containers fixed with the release of 6.11? I know there were a bunch of people, myself included, that had to downgrade to 6.9 because of the bug. I don't see anything in the release notes and was hoping it was fixed. I wanted to be sure before I upgraded again. Just some examples. https://forums.unraid.net/topic/127325-issues-with-file-permissions-on-610x/#comment-1160670 https://forums.unraid.net/topic/116281-solved-610-rc2-dockers-permission-to-appdata-folder/#comment-1056850 https://forums.unraid.net/bug-reports/stable-releases/docker-permission-issues-unraid-610-r1986/ https://forums.unraid.net/topic/123671-unraid-610-permission-denied-from-docker-containers/#comment-1127794
December 3, 20223 yr Author Hello. I just wanted to bump this up to see if anyone could help me out. Thank you.
December 4, 20223 yr Community Expert AFAIK there's no bug, issues affects users that weren't using the optimal settings, and earlier releases still accepted them while now it requires the correct ones, you can take a look here for some more info: https://forums.unraid.net/topic/123901-plex-issues-upon-upgrade-to-6101/?do=findComment&comment=1138715 More specifically about rclone and sonar/radar/plex https://forums.unraid.net/topic/75436-guide-how-to-use-rclone-to-mount-cloud-drives-and-play-files/page/115/#comment-1140504
December 5, 20223 yr Author @JorgeB Thank you. I tried upgrading to v6.11.5 and I'm getting the access denied errors again. Could you help me get them resolved? The links you posted are a little over my head. I'm not really sure where to start?
December 5, 20223 yr Community Expert Sorry, not really something I have experience with, I would suggests starting with one the the problem docker containers and post on the existing support thread, you can find it by clicking on the container and clicking the support link.
December 24, 20223 yr Author I just wanted to bump this because I'm still stuck with this problem and was hoping someone could help? It's effecting all my docker containers. I can't find anyone that has fixed it either.
January 14, 20233 yr Author Me again. I'm still stuck and would love if someone could help me fix this issue? Thank you!
January 15, 20233 yr Community Expert Try running the new permissions tool on the affected shares, not on appdata.

Most of my docker containers are now broken and completely inaccessible. I'm being told that I'm going to have to delete them all and start over again. Essentially rebuild all my containers and their associated databases. Hopefully this helps someone so they don't have to rebuild their server.

You can see in the other thread that this did solve the issue for other users, though not cases are the same, possibly depending on what containers you are using, what you should do is backup appdata first then see if it helps, if it doesn't restore the backup.
