$1, no promo or MIR.  Shipping not included.

If it is too good to be true, it probably isn't.  This is clearly a misprint (most likely supposed to be $99.99, which would be a fair price).  But, who knows...maybe they'll actually honor it until they catch the mistake.  This will either turn out to be an amusing disappointment, or the deal of the century, better even than those of us lucky enough to get the Supermicro C2SEE board for $20...

Max order quantity is three CPUs.  After shipping, my total was under $10 ;D

in for 3.  Total was $9.13.

+1 - In for 3 myself. If this works I'll be laughing to myself for quite some time.

In for 3 myself.  Has anybody ever seen one of these "too good to be true" deals before on Amazon?  Did they honor it?  If not, on what basis do the decline the order?

Got three as well. Assuming I get them, I'll replace two of my 530s with these. Then I'll sell the two 530s and third 540 and donate the money to some friends who're doing a 150+ mile bike ride for cancer research.

$108.99 now, I am crossing my fingers for you guys to get yours!

That's because onSale is out of stock.  The item is now being fulfilled by Amazon.

The $1 deal was no through Amazon.com, it was through a 3rd party vendor. They are going to cancel all orders. The only way it works is if the item was fulfilled by Amazon but the seller was a 3rd party vendor. AZ will ship those orders as I have accidentally priced an item at $7 instead of $47 before.

^^ That doesn't mean anything. I sell on AZ for a living, and there is no way that I'd sell a $100 CPU for a $1. It will not be honored, so don't get your hopes up.

Price has changed to $109. I wonder why....

I found out that I could change my order quantity within the shopping cart, so I ordered a total of 15 CPUs ;D  I certainly don't expect them to honor it, but maybe they'll offer us some other deal for our trouble?

my invoice has changed from $9.13 to $8.86.  I'm crossing my fingers that they ship soon.

Dang... I was holding out until it got down to $0.79...  ;)

damn. should have checked this earlier.

Mine got cancelled, said there was no stock.

Same here.

Everyone will get the OOS email. There wasn't a chance of this shipping since someone would have noticed the error before they pack the items to be shipped.

I actually got a call too :)

I swear, bunch of old ladies at a white sale.

;D

I still have not received a cancellation email.  ???

I haven't received a cancellation email either. My credit card has been charged.  Rajahal got greedy and tried to get 15!  I bet thats why they cancelled you so quickly.

I finally received my cancellation.  They have NOT refunded my credit card yet though.  The order just disappeared from my Order History, so I cannot leave feedback.  Their "out of stock" excuse is bulls*t!  They could have at least admitted to their mistake.

I got mine yesterday as well.  That is a bogus excuse.  You better believe that if I had paid full price that the order would not have been canceled and instead the e-mail would have said that the item was on backorder and would be shipped as soon as the item was in stock.

Lol!  Complaining that vendor would not sell a CPU for 1% of it's value. Everyone that ordered one knew it was a pricing mistake.  Fulfilling these orders could have been disastrous for the company selling them if they had not caught the error.

I think different vendors can have the same part coded with different part numbers with different prices. It's not unusual for newegg to go out of stock on a sale item and the day after the sale is over suddenly they have plenty.  So technically speaking they are out of stock on these $1 CPUs.
