Libvirt fails to start

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

I made a bit of a mistake and now Libvirt is failing to start (Lesson: don't fool around in Krusader when you don't know what you're doing).

When I reboot the server, it does manage to start, but if I stop it, it won't come back up.

I was cleaning up some disk images trying to clear up space on my VM cache disk and I used Krusader to delete a folder under Unraid/cachevm/domains.  In the VM Settings logs, I have these errors:

The Server2008R2_TMPL doesn't actually exist, but Server2016_TMPL does.

That's a good question, I didn't put it there.  It's not there in the UI.

I ended up deleting the Server_2016_TMPL using Virtual Machine Manager, however, I still see this in the log:

internal error: Failed to autostart storage pool 'Server2008R2_TMPL': cannot open directory '/mnt/user/domains/Server2008R2_TMPL': No such file or directory

That's the folder I deleted using Krusader.
