July 6, 201114 yr Hi, My friend just finished building his first unRaid server and he followed one of the Raj's build. Speccs are: Mobo: ZOTAC GF6100-E-E CPU: AMD Sempron 140 PSU: CORSAIR Builder Series CX500 500w Case: Li PC-Q08B He is using 2x WD20EARS, he ran preclear on both drives before the build on another spare PC and booted of his unraid usb stick to save time. After he installed the drives to his unraid build both drives don't show any temperature readings it just displays "0". He is using unRaid 4.7 Pro. We cant find any S.M.A.R.T settings in the BIOS. Any suggestions what is going on ?
July 6, 201114 yr I believe somebody else here reported the same issue with a new EARS drive. I have no idea what you can do about it though or if it can be fixed without replacing the drives. Peter
