November 28, 20223 yr Hello, I am in the process of removing some smaller drives (4TB) and replacing them with larger drives(14TB). The first (parity) drive went well. Finished drive (parity) in about 22 hours. Was doing about 150MB/s. The second drive I started last night and it was getting the same 150MBs. I wake up this morning and its down to about 3MBs with a completion of about 45 days. Why the speed drop? Thank you! rice-nas-diagnostics-20221128-0638.zip
November 28, 20223 yr Community Expert Nothing obvious. Are you reading or writing the array a lot during rebuild?
November 28, 20223 yr Author No I have docker and VM's turned off. Disk two id the drive I replaced and it does show writes happening but I assumed that was the rebuild.
November 28, 20223 yr Community Expert There's something writing to the array, you can see that because there are writes to parity, and since there are no writes to any other disk, it's writing to disk2.
