Unraid with just NVME without cache?

Featured Replies

Hi, i have a laptop with 2 nvme slots and one is with a new 2TB NVME from XPG and one with A Sabrent Rocket 8TB

On the XPG i would like to use appdata for docker und vms and the Sabrent ist just for File Sharing

Do i have to use cache ? I mean bot NVME can have speeds around 4000mb/s

No. But you do have to assign a drive to the parity array, and currently that should NOT be a SSD. I'd advise using a second USB stick as Data1, and create 2 pools, one for each of the NVME's.
