July 7, 201114 yr I think this should probably be an easy problem to fix. I've attached an image with this post. Basically I was attaching harddrives to unRAID, but then I decided to "get serious" and rearrange the drives in my system to make sense. I don't have any data on any of these drives (6 drives total), so I decided to just Preclear all of the drives. So I've pre-cleared the first 4 drives and I'm in the process of pre-clearing the last 2 drives. I went ahead and went into devices and assigned the first 4 disks. However, in the "Main" page, I see a Red Dot next to "disk1" and underneath "Command area" it says "Stopped. Invalid expansion." If you look at the image, it's pretty clear that unRAID thinks that a certain disk is supposed to be in the "disk1" slot and isn't happy with my current arrangement. But I've formatted all the drives and I just want to assign them in the order that they're in my system now. So how would I go about doing that? thanks, K
